Swim With A Mission Swim With A Mission, Inc is a 501c3 nonprofit that raises money for Veterans! We started Swimming with a Mission, Inc. because we needed to do something!

We are frustrated and concerned that our Veterans are being treated so poorly. Our Veterans and their families have given so much and for some, made the ultimate sacrifice. Our Veterans deserve more. We live in the land of the free and the home of the brave BECAUSE of the brave. We believe that we need to do more and so this is what we are doing. We hope that you will join us on this mission to he

lp and honor our Veterans. This organization combine our most fundamental passions. Veterans, Lake living and swimming. What a joy to be able to bring a significant event to the Lakes Region, to showcase the cleanest lake in the Northeast of the United States, that we have been enjoying for more than 30 years. To inspire swimmers and volunteers to join us in a an open water swim across Newfound Lake. To be inspired by the best in class, our quiet heroes that walk amongst us, led by the US Navy SEALs. We are so grateful that our first 5 years were such a great success and are grateful to all of the swimmers, donors, sponsors, volunteers and participants who helped make this Mission victorious! Today, we continue our SWAM To Remember initiative by honoring the life and service of U.S. Marine Capt. Nicholas "Sloppy" Losapio, of Kensington, NH, who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country on June 8, 2022. 🇺🇸

Captain Losapio is one of 96 New Hampshire service members who gave their lives in defense of our freedom since the start of the Global War on Terror. Today, we honor Nick and all of our fallen heroes, and we ask you to join us in keeping their memories alive.

We are also honored to share that Nick’s mother, Susan Losapio, author of the children's book Captain Nick, will be joining us at our MISSION 250 - Celebrating America’s 250th Birthday & 10 Years of Swim With A Mission event at Tuscan Village on Sunday, July 12th. Be sure to stop by, meet Sue, and learn more about Nick’s inspiring story and legacy.
