Oreatha June (Muncy) Stanley, 75, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2026 in Huntington, WV.
She was born on December 31st 1950 in Marrowbone, WV. She is preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Ernestine (Baisden) Muncy, maternal grandparents Walt and Betty Baisden, paternal grandfather Alex Harmon, paternal grandmother Pearl Muncy and brothers Stanley Muncy, Herb Muncy (Helen), and Allen “June” Muncy Jr.
Oreatha is survived by her devoted husband Wendell, son Tyrel Stanley, daughter Megan Stanley, brother Walter Muncy, sister Betty Crum (Tom), and special cousin Glenn Baisden (Virginia), along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Oreatha was retired, she served the community as Youth Service Center Director for several years at Warfield Middle, she also owned and operated Helping Hands Food Pantry in Beauty, KY, her family plans to continue the pantry in her honor. Oreatha is no longer in pain and is cuttin’ a rug in the sky with her brother Herbie.
Visitation will be tomorrow Wednesday July 22nd, 2026, at Mullins Family Funeral Home from 5pm until 8pm and on Thursday 23rd from 11am until 12pm. Funeral Services will be on Thursday July 23rd, 2026,6 at 12pm. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be serving the family of Oreatha June Muncy Stanley.
