Warfield 100 units recently cleared the scene of a structure fire around the 3400 block of riverfront road. Warfield responded with two engines and seven men. We would like to thank Inez Fire and Kermit Fire for their assistance. Due to the quick response and amazing teamwork we were able to detain the fire to a small section of one wall. Great Teamwork from everyone on scene!

With heavy hearts WVFD mourns the loss of former fire Chief /Paramedic Doug Hinkle We thank him for his years of dedication to the fire service. Please keep family and friends in prayers. RIP brother well take it from here.

Skip was an amazing Fire Chief, Father, Grandfather and Mentor To All The Who Knew Him. Rest Easy Brother We Will Take It From Here!
