Training Dogs for a Higher Purpose Wherever our services are required, Caring Angels will be there ready to serve.

K-9 Caring Angels mission is to provide service, therapy, and comfort to the community through our well trained and rigorously tested Service, Therapy, and Comfort Canines. Our organization includes dedicated Therapy Teams, Trainers, Fosters, and Volunteers who are integral in taking a canine with great potential and molding that potential into a happy, focused and obedient dog who is ready and eagar to serve groups and individuals within the community. Once their potential is realized, our canines are ready to serve in a broad spectrum of roles with children, senior citizens, people with disabilities, soldiers, or anyone with additional needs.

Pippa is practicing long-distance place and recall outdoors. As she continues her therapy dog prep journey, building reliable focus even when her handler walks far away is key to real-world success! 🌟

Our Board & Train grad Ace is back staying with us and brushing up on his outdoor place command. He remembered his training instantly and loves showing off for the camera! 📸❤️

Happy Halloween!

Our therapy dog teams joined the Fairfax County Fire & Rescue Department once again for their annual Kids Coat Distribution with Operation Warm! Over 2,000 new winter coats were gifted to children from more than 50 local schools. Our dogs are there each year to shower everyone with smiles, tail wags, and extra warmth! 🚒🐕‍🦺
Huge thank you to Chief Bailey and the incredible crew at Fairfax Fire for inviting us back every year to be part of such a meaningful day in our community! ❤️

Zero tricks around here today, just 100% treats and pure autumn sunshine! ☀️🍂 Julia is taking a quick break to enjoy the fall leaves during her walk. Hope everyone and their pups have a fun, safe Halloween! 🎃

Julia's got little legs, but big recall speed! 💨🐾 Nothing beats seeing that happy little trot straight to you when called! ❤️

Pippa took her place work to a whole new level on her park field trip! Balancing across wooden posts takes serious precision, focus, and confidence. She did it all with the happiest scruffy grin! 🍂✨

Ace is a graduate of our Board & Train program, and he’s back staying with us for a little boarding and a quick tune-up! Whether it's reinforcing leash manners or sharpening recalls, our alumni refresher sessions keep your dog’s skills top-notch for life 💪

Goldilocks and the... Four Bears? Papa Bear, Mama Bear, Baby Bear... and Remi, who’s just hoping there’s porridge involved! 🥣🐻🐶

Elevated cots are a great tool for building the foundations of boundary awareness! Pippa is learning to maintain focus, build impulse control, and stay put even as the Larissa moves around and out of sight.
