Please join the recovery community on Thursday, August 27th for "A Night To Remember" at The Osgood in Bay City. Proceeds benefit local people seeking recovery with assistance with rent for recovery housing and other unmet needs.

With the combined efforts of NARA, Bay County Prevention Network, Peer 360 and FAN we will recognize people in recovery, remember those we have lost to overdose, increase the awareness of substance use disorder and decrease the stigma often and mistakenly associated with the disease of addiction.

3 months from tonight we will be gathering at The Osgood in Bay City for an event appropriately named “A Night to Remember”. ANTR is a special event that is meaningful and emotional to many. Let's do more of what is working to help people maintain their recovery from substance use disorder (medical care & support) and less of what is not (arrest and incarceration).

Today, we went to Lansing.

Our Director of Operations, Dunya Kilano, and our longtime community partner, Mario Bastianelli of the Sterling Heights Police Department, stood before the House Judiciary Committee in support of House Bill 5453 — a bill that would give communities a real way to connect people struggling with addiction to treatment and support, instead of moving straight to charges.

We believe what we’ve always believed: addiction is a medical condition, not a moral failure. And when law enforcement, treatment providers, and community organizations work together, people get a real chance to change their lives.

Thank you to Rep. Lightner for sponsoring this bill, to the Sterling Heights Police Department for showing what true partnership looks like, and to everyone standing in this work alongside us.
