2pm-5pm for clothing housejold items . Restoring Hope is a non-profit, Christian-based charity for the community. Most of us have come across people in our day-to-day lives that we can see are struggling with difficult situations. Many of our neighbors struggle to provide the basic needs

of life (i.e.: food, clothing, and shelter) for their families and themselves. God's Word tells us in James 2:14-17, "What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead." God's Word tells us there's more to be done than just praying for things to "work out". So we wanted to do something about it. At Restoring Hope, we take donations of nearly everything. Everything from clothing, furniture, kitchen items, to cash is taken then made available to anyone who needs it. There's no catch and no payment for items taken. On a person's first visit, we ask if they have a BIble. If they do not, we give them one and share the love of Christ with them. We do this with the hope that it provides a helping hand up, but is not taken as "just another handout."

Today Jesus lead this group from the River Church to Restoring Hope.
They came to paint our building , they also hang clothing sorted toys organized some of shelve,cleaned all the weeds out in front and stabilized/ painted our little bench .

We are grateful and thankful to have been blessed today from this wonderful group of people.

Saturday we held a luncheon for all our volunteers. There was several that could not attend due to sickness . Please keep them in your prayers.
Restoring Hope has been solely run/ operated since day one by our awesome volunteers.
Just yesterday, I received a call asking if we could help a family whose house just burned a few hours earlier. I made a call to the ladies at Restoring Hope volunteering , telling them the situation they jumped into action collecting a bag of clothing for every family member.
For 15 years loving giving volunteers has made a important difference in other lives
If you would like to be apart of our Hope family there is always room for more volunteers.
