2pm-5pm for clothing housejold items . Restoring Hope is a non-profit, Christian-based charity for the community. Most of us have come across people in our day-to-day lives that we can see are struggling with difficult situations. Many of our neighbors struggle to provide the basic needs

of life (i.e.: food, clothing, and shelter) for their families and themselves. God's Word tells us in James 2:14-17, "What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead." God's Word tells us there's more to be done than just praying for things to "work out". So we wanted to do something about it. At Restoring Hope, we take donations of nearly everything. Everything from clothing, furniture, kitchen items, to cash is taken then made available to anyone who needs it. There's no catch and no payment for items taken. On a person's first visit, we ask if they have a BIble. If they do not, we give them one and share the love of Christ with them. We do this with the hope that it provides a helping hand up, but is not taken as "just another handout."

We have had a water leak in our block building for quite a while now . Yesterday Micah Degroat and Justin tindle fixed the leak and installed a new new hot water heater.
This big project paid for by our fundraising Yard sales!
Thank you Micah and Justin for your hard work. Thank you to all our friends and neighbors for helping us raise funds.
One step closer to getting reopened I.n@The near future.

RAIN OR SHINE YARD SALE!
Date, August 27th-29th, hours Thus & Friday 8am-4pm Saturday 8am-2pm. Located at 7301 Baxter Rd Baxter.

All the volunteers have worked hard helping to make this happen.
All proceeds will help pay for new doors and windows.

Thank you Charles with Fields Construction for getting our LVP installed. Thank you to Conner Brothers flooring for the beautiful LVP.
Charles heard about our urgent need to have the flooring installed, charles and his crew had it laid in two days. It’s beautiful. It was a difficult job because there is nothing square or level in that house. Charles not only got our flooring installed, his daughter came almost everyday to help us get everything moved before Aug 1st. Another step closer.

One step along the way to Restoreing the cobble stone house.
Thank you to Micah Degroat and Larry Dillion and Cookeville First Presbyterian Church on 10th.
A monetary donation was made to purchase the plywood to level the floors by Cookeville First Presbyterian Church.
Micah and Larry worked late nights and long days to see this project was completed.

Five weeks ago we was given an evictions notice asking us to have everything moved by August 1st, where we housed our food pantry.
With the help of many people volunteering the move was completed Thursday July 30th.
Restoring Hope is truly blessed! Jesus knew it was going to take an army to move everything in a short amount of time. Many people showed up to help anyway they could. The volunteers had two yard sales to help raise funds for the remodel . Bear Cove Baptist Church from Sparta ,came two days with 25/30 people each day helping us move food and all our freezers and refrigerators. Cedar Hill Baptist from Baxter also came for two days helping box pack move and clean .
Thank You C&M trucking for moving our semi trailers. Many people volunteering some every day.
Now we will start our Remodel
