Gilligan is stretched out on the porch looking incredibly sweet.

There is no punchline this time.

He looks sweet because he is sweet. 💚🐐

Sometimes the goats create chaos. Sometimes they eat things they should not. And sometimes they simply relax on the porch and remind us how lucky we are to love them.

🐶 Guinevere is the most beautiful puppy in the world. 💚

The face. The eyes. The ears. The perfect amount of puppy mischief. She is also a therapy puppy in training—but she has already mastered making people smile.

Joe thought he and Bandita were going to sit quietly in their chairs and enjoy the Algood Festival.

Bandita had other plans. 🐐😂

Bandita attempts to get Joe’s attention with a friendly hoof.

Joe apparently fails to respond quickly enough, so Bandita escalates the situation to a headbutt.

Bandita believes strongly in clear communication.

She asks nicely once.

Then she uses her head.

Joe’s performance review did not go well.

A comfortable spot on the wood hopper outside the cabin, a little fresh air, and absolutely no intention of doing anything productive.

Honestly, he may have the right idea.

No plans.

No responsibilities.

Just relax and enjoy the day.

🚨🐐 ATTEMPTED GREAT ESCAPE IN PROGRESS 🐐🚨

Kristoff and Nameless have apparently decided that running away from the Farm would be far too strenuous.

Their new plan?

Take the car.

Neither one has a driver’s license.

Neither one can reach the pedals.

Neither one appears to have a destination in mind.

But confidence has never been their problem. 😂

Since it is , donations help fund important things such as animal care, food, hay, bedding, fencing, transportation—and, according to Kristoff and Nameless, great escapes and gas money for such escapes.

🐾 National Dog Week 🐾
The first full week of September

National Dog Week is more than a celebration of our beloved canine companions. It’s a reminder of the responsibility we take on when we welcome a dog into our lives. ❤️🐶

Being a responsible dog owner means providing more than food and shelter. It means committing to proper veterinary care, nutritious food, exercise, training, socialization, identification, and—most importantly—a lifetime of love and care.

It’s also a wonderful time to remember the many dogs waiting for families in shelters and rescues. 🏡🐕

Before purchasing a dog, consider adoption. There are countless wonderful dogs looking for someone to give them the second chance they deserve.

And if you already have a dog, National Dog Week is the perfect opportunity to ask yourself:

🐾 Is my dog getting the exercise and enrichment they need?
🐾 Are their vaccinations and veterinary care up to date?
🐾 Do they have proper identification?
🐾 Am I providing consistent training and socialization?
🐾 Am I prepared to care for them for their entire lifetime?

A dog isn't a temporary commitment or a seasonal responsibility. It's a promise for life. ❤️

Today, we celebrate the incredible wildlife that shares our world and reminds us of the beauty, wonder, and importance of nature. ❤️

At Faeryland’s Farm Menagerie, we believe every animal has value and deserves compassion, respect, and protection. From the creatures we care for to the wildlife living just beyond our backyards, each plays an important role in our ecosystem. 🌎🐾

On National Wildlife Day, take a moment to appreciate the wild animals around you and consider how we can all help protect them.

🌿 Respect wildlife and their natural habitats.
🦌 Give wild animals the space they need.
🐦 Provide safe, natural spaces for native wildlife.
♻️ Reduce pollution and protect our environment.
❤️ Support organizations working to protect and care for animals.
