👋 DADS ON DUTY (AND OTHERS!) 🦅

We’re looking for some awesome dads, grandpas, uncles, family members, and friends to help out during recess! 💛🖤

Have an hour to spare once or twice a month? We’d love to have you join us on the playground! There’s nothing complicated about it—play a little kickball, help tie a shoe, chat with the kids, settle a disagreement, or simply be another positive adult presence while they enjoy their recess. 😊

📅 Volunteer opportunities are available Tuesdays & Fridays for all grade levels.

Even helping once a month can make a difference! 🙌

Visit classrooms, meet your child’s teacher, and get ready for a great year!

🚚 Food Trucks | 4:30–6:30 PM
Stick around after meeting your teacher, grab dinner from one of our local food trucks, and connect with other BGE families!

🛝 We’re also hosting a Recess Toy Drive! Help us keep recess fun all year long by bringing a new or gently used indoor or outdoor recess item. Balls, jump ropes, board games, puzzles, Legos, art supplies, bubbles, chalk, and more are all appreciated!

We can’t wait to welcome everyone back, see familiar faces, meet new families, and start another wonderful school year together! 💛🖤

Join us for **Kindergarten Parent Information Night** on **August 3 from 6:00–7:30 PM** at Battle Ground Elementary.

This special evening is designed just for kindergarten students and their parents. You'll have the opportunity to:
✅ Meet your child's teacher
✅ Drop off school supplies
✅ Learn about kindergarten routines and expectations
✅ Complete important paperwork
✅ Ask questions and get ready for a successful first year

Battle Ground Elementary School🎨🖌️ PTO Work Day - Volunteers Needed! 🖌️🎨

We're looking for a few helping hands on Saturday, July 25, from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM at BGI!

We'll be installing and painting our new sensory pads to create fun, engaging spaces for our students. No special skills required, just a willingness to help!

Whether you can stay for an hour or the whole morning, we'd love to have you join us.
