Tomorrow evening, June 2nd, will be our last stated meeting before summer. Dinner will be D&R pork chops, green beans (wouldn't be a Masonic meal without them!), and of course our traditional June strawberry shortcake with ice cream!
Please join us as on Tuesday evening as things have changed at Battle Ground Lodge in terms of our meeting structure. As you have seen over the last few months, the lodge voted on and adopted the Executive Committee Program. That means that the officers (and any member wishing to attend) meets one week prior to handle the administrative work of the lodge.
This adoption and by law change allows us to free up our meetings for what Freemasonry truly is; a transformative, educational art designed to help a good man smooth his rough ashlar into a more perfect ashlar.
Instead of a boring business meeting, our meetings will now be devoted to fellowship and education! We will still have a short business meeting. Emphasis on short.
From what I have been told by our Education Committee chairman, our Masonic Education for the evening will be unique and you will be very pleased with what you see and hear.
The Worshipful Master and the officers of Battle Ground Lodge are looking forward to seeing everyone Tuesday night at 6:30pm for dinner and fellowship!
