Calling all NWYRA Graduating Seniors!

Applications are officially OPEN for NWYRA's 2026 Jake Thompson Memorial Scholarship! Head on over to https://www.nwyra.net/scholarship to find the application and guidelines.

-Applicant must be a current and paid Contestant/Member of NWYRA. (This means you must have a current 2026 NWYRA Membership)
-Applicant that is pursuing a post-high school course of study at either a college/university, other post-secondary educational institution, or a trade school are encouraged to apply.
-Scholarship application will be scored according to the Scholarship Scoring Rubrics.
-Applicant must appear before the Scholarship Committee for a 15 minutes interview conducted at the second rodeo of the season. (This means you need to be able to attend the Canyonville NWYRA Rodeo June 26-28

Thanks to Krohns Appliance Service LLC for sponsoring the Scholarship Buckles again this year, we will be awarding one to each recipient.
