Hello everyone! I’m back! 🤍🧸
As I step into this year as Miss Louisiana 2026, I am overwhelmed with gratitude and excitement for the impact that Claire’s Promise will continue to have across our state.
One of the greatest honors of this journey has been carrying Claire with me every step of the way. In every news interview, I’ve had the opportunity to share Claire’s life, her legacy, and the mission behind Claire’s Promise. My favorite part of Miss Louisiana week wasn’t a moment under the lights or hearing my name called, it was standing on that stage and talking about her.
Because of this organization, Claire’s story is reaching people and places I never could have imagined, and for that I will be forever grateful!
This year, I will proudly wear my custom Claire’s Promise gold pin as a reminder that every appearance, every conversation, and every opportunity is bigger than me. It’s about creating awareness, advocating for victims and families, and ensuring that lives lost to impaired driving are never forgotten.
As for our Forever Fridays, my heart is so full to share that every Friday thus far been covered by those who loved Claire and continue to keep her memory alive. Thank you for showing up for her week after week.
As we move into this next chapter, Fridays on this page will begin to look a little different as we introduce a new weekly series focused on education, advocacy, and impact through Claire’s Promise. But if you have never had the opportunity to participate in a Forever Friday and would like to share a memory or message about Claire, please reach out. There will always be room for more stories, more memories, and more love for our Claire Bear.
