Meet our Board: Kyra Muse, VP of Service!

Kyra is a Southern University A&M College grad who works at the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank and brings that same heart for service straight into her role leading our philanthropic programming 💛

The Barton Leadership Program Class of 2026 kicked off their journey together this month with an Opening Retreat designed to help them connect, learn, and grow as leaders from day one.

The cohort worked through a CliftonStrengths assessment led by Adrian Owen Jones of Success Labs, gaining insight into their individual strengths and how they can lead with them. They also took part in leadership development activities built to help this new group of leaders get to know one another as they start the program together.

A sweet thank-you to Brew Ha Ha for donating cake pops to help make the day even more special! 🍰

We're so excited to see where this class takes their leadership and their impact on Baton Rouge over the next year.

Meet our board! 👋

Next up in our board spotlight series: Joe Chighizola, Forum 225's VP of Corporate Sponsorships. Joe is a graduate of Nicholls State and LSU, and works at Northwestern Mutual, bringing that same relationship-building mindset to his role with us.

He joined Forum 225 for the networking and the community, and his favorite spot in Baton Rouge is the park by the Capitol. When he's not working, you'll find him spending time with his family or working out.

The best advice he's ever received: "Keep it simple and tell a story to explain the why/how", a philosophy that comes through in how he builds partnerships for Forum 225.
