🌟 Central showed up for Safe & In Charge! 🌟

We had an AWESOME group of Sitter Superstars join us last weekend at City of Central City Hall, and these future babysitters absolutely crushed it!

From CPR and choking emergencies to first aid, home safety, child care skills, calling 911, and handling those “what do I do now?!” moments, our students jumped right in and put their new skills to work. 💪🩹☎️

A huge THANK YOU to the City of Central for welcoming us and giving us a great space to help build the next generation of confident, capable young people!

But we’re not done in Central yet! 👀

📣 NEXT UP: Safe & In Charge — TEENS!

We’ll be back at City of Central City Hall this Saturday, August 29, with a class geared specifically toward our older students and the real-life situations they’re beginning to face.

If you have a teen who could benefit from becoming a little more prepared, confident, independent, and Safe & In Charge, this one is for them!

🚨 SAFE & IN CHARGE: TEENS IS BACK! 🚨

After an awesome inaugural class, we're ready to do it again! 🔥

The Louisiana Firefighters Foundation is bringing Safe & In Charge: TEENS to City of Central City Hall on Saturday, August 29!

Designed for students ages 12–17, this hands-on class goes beyond basic safety and gives teens practical skills they can actually use in the real world.

🏠 Personal Safety & Home Readiness
🌦️ Water, Wilderness & Weather Safety
⭐ Leadership & Life Skills
👨‍👩‍👧 Family Emergency Planning
💪 Confidence, responsibility & real-world preparedness

Our goal is simple: give today's teens the knowledge and confidence to make good decisions, respond when something goes wrong, and become leaders at home and in their communities.
