Our Batesville Square Market has been hoppin’ this season, and we’re just getting started!

🌽 Join us next Wednesday, June 24, from 9 AM–1 PM on the historic downtown square for another great morning market filled with fresh produce, homemade goodies, and handmade treasures.

🇺🇸 Then mark your calendars for Wednesday, July 1, when the market returns from 3–7 PM for a special America250 Celebration!

🎨 Kids Corner featuring scooter and bike decorating
🚲 A special area for kids to ride and show off their creations
⏰ 5 PM opening ceremony of the 1976 Batesville Time Capsule under the Gazebo
🍗 Crumpy’s Food Truck
🔥 MFUNN BBQ Food Truck
🍧 Kona Ice
🎶 Live music by Casey Lupe and Calvin Flint

🧡 Bring your chairs, blankets and bug spray.

🧡 Junior Auxiliary of Batesville, MS will have pop corn, the Boy Scouts will have drinks and other snacks, and Kona Ice will be there for cold treats!

Join us for a special edition of the Batesville Square Market as we celebrate America250 on Wednesday, July 1, from 3:00–7:00 PM on the Historic Downtown Batesville Square!

Bring the whole family for an afternoon of shopping, entertainment, and patriotic fun. Browse local vendors, enjoy delicious food trucks, and relax with live music from Casey Lipe and Calvin Flint.

⏰ At 5:00 PM under the Gazebo, join us for a special Time Capsule Ceremony as we open Batesville's 1976 Time Capsule, add new items to a 2076 Time Capsule, and celebrate our community's past, present, and future.

There is something to be said about folks that will volunteer….. to help with hard work when they know they are not getting ‘paid’ with money, and helping out of the goodness of their heart.

These past markets could not have been possible without our amazing VOLUNTEERS. These kids (and a couple of adults!!) have risen to the occasion without fanfare or need for accolade.

They showed up.
They moved gear.
They took direction.
They smiled, spoke, looked folks in the eye.
They listened.
They anticipated what else needed to be done without being asked.
They VOLUNTEERED the way a community NEEDS people to do.

They don’t need us to say their names. But we are. Because they showed up and did the thing. That’s community and humanity. Thank you.
