🚗🏆 Y’all come on down to Downtown Batesville this Saturday for the Show Off on the Square Open Car Show!

The action rolls from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, featuring an incredible lineup of classic cars, custom builds, trucks, race cars, and motorcycles. Whether you're showing off your ride or just coming to admire the vehicles, there’s something for everyone!

Want to enter a vehicle?
✅ Registration: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
🏆 Trophy Presentation: 3:00 PM

Enjoy door prizes, concessions, a 50/50 drawing, and plenty of good hometown family fun!

This event is open to all makes and models of cars, trucks, race cars, and motorcycles.

A special thank you to the MS Delta Street Rods and the City of Batesville for sponsoring this exciting community event. Profits from the show are donated to the Baptist Children's Village and other local needs.

⚠️ Traffic Notice: This is a BIG show, and several streets around the Square will be closed to accommodate the event and ensure pedestrian safety. ((See the attached map!)) However, Eureka Street remains open into downtown, and College Street remains open through the Square in front of the shops. Please use caution and drive slowly in the area.

Join us this Wednesday, June 3, as we kick off the 2026 market season on the Historic Downtown Batesville Square!

🔔 Opening Ceremony – 2:50 PM
🛍️ Market Hours for June 3– 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Browse 45 vendors featuring fresh produce, plants, homemade goods, handmade crafts, and more!

👧🧒 The Junior Auxiliary of Batesville, MS Kids Corner will be packed with fun activities, including Farmers Market Bingo and a Hula Hoop Contest.

🏡 Our amazing market sponsor, Delacy Howell Realty, Realtor Lic in MS 662-561-5926 will ring the opening bell and celebrate with free hot dogs and bottled water at their beautifully renovated office on the corner of the Square.

🍧 Cool off with Kona Ice treats available on-site.

🎶 Enjoy live music at the Depot from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM featuring local Hill Country Blues artist, Kody Shade Harrell. Grab a seat, relax, and soak in the atmosphere!

CHANGE OF VENUE FOR PROGRAM
Due to the weather forecast, the Exchange Club Memorial Day Program will be held at the BATESVILLE CIVIC CENTER, 290 CIVIC CENTER DRIVE, BATESVILLE, MS 38606. It will still be at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 25, 2026🇺🇸🇺🇸❤️

The Exchange Club of Batesville will hold its annual Memorial Day Program at the BATESVILLE CIVIC CENTER on Monday, May 25 at 11am.

The Exchange Club of Batesville is marking its 50th year in Batesville with club charter date of June 12, 1976.

Monday's Memorial Day observance will feature guest speaker Lt. Col. Gerald Young of Ridgeland, who has served the Mississippi Army National Guard for over 22 years. He received a commission from Marion Military Institute ROTC in May of 2003 and was assigned to C Co 1-115 IN as Infantry Platoon Leader in Biloxi. Since that time, he has served in various positions of increasing responsibility to include: Mortar Platoon Leader, Assistant Operations Officer, Company Commander, Aide de Camp, Infantry Subject Matter Expert, Operations Officer, Executive Officer, Command Inspector General, State Training Officer and Commander of the 2nd Battalion 198th Armor Regiment.

Memorial Day is dedicated to mourning and honoring members of the United States military who died while serving in the Armed Forced.
