We Believe In BISD A group of concerned citizens and business owners actively supporting the students and staff of Bastr

"We Believe In BISD" is an initiative funded by the Bastrop Chamber of Commerce, Bastrop Economic Development Corp, and the Bastrop Independent School District. It's purpose is to unite the community and local businesses to support the school district. The goal is to bring the public together, and show their support for their district.

On Tuesday, our We Believe in BISD group had the opportunity to visit Gateway School with their sponsor Bastrop Christian Ministerial Alliance.

The Bastrop Regional Chamber was honored to welcome new educators during the BISD New Teacher Academy on Wednesday!

Thanks to the generosity of our local businesses, each new teacher received a swag bag filled with community goodies and special offers. Our volunteers also had the opportunity to introduce the Chamber, share how we support local businesses, and highlight our We Believe in BISD initiative.

We Believe in BISD was proud to join the Back to School Bash and celebrate the incredible educators who make a difference in our community!

Teachers enjoyed fun games, friendly competition, plenty of smiles, and the chance to win some money along the way.
