🏐🏈 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! 🎉

Can you believe it?! Our first home volleyball game is just ONE WEEK away, and our first home football game is only TWO WEEKS away! 🐻

The Bastrop Middle School PTA runs the concession stand at all home volleyball, football, and basketball games, and concession sales are one of our biggest and most successful fundraisers! 🙌

We need PTA members, parents, and students to help make game days a success! ❤️

🥤 CONCESSION VOLUNTEER SHIFTS
Shift 1 | 4:15–5:15 PM
➡️ Set up, prepare items, and get the concession stand ready to open.

Shift 2 | 5:15–6:15 PM
➡️ Work the concession stand during the first part of the game.

Shift 3 | 6:15 PM–End
➡️ Volleyball & Basketball: 6:15–7:00 PM
➡️ Football: 6:15 PM–start of the 4th quarter
➡️ Includes clean-up and closing the concession stand.

It’s almost that time 🕦👀!

Our first PTA fundraiser starts THIS FRIDAY at Club Car Wash in Bastrop!

Bring your dirty cars 🚘, purchase a $5 MVP Car Wash, and drive through the car wash! That’s all it takes. A portion of the MVP Car Wash purchases will be donated back to our PTA at the end of the event.

The best thing about this is….The fundraiser is 3 days long! Can’t make it Friday? That’s ok, this event runs Friday, Saturday, and Sunday!

You can also scan the QR Code below and nominate your favorite teacher 👩‍🏫👨‍🏫 to win a $5,000 gift card! ♥️♥️♥️

Registration for PTA is now open!!! Join PTA for an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our students, teachers, and staff.

COST: $8.00 per person
WHO CAN REGISTER: Parents, Guardians, Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents, Teachers, and Community Members

Each parent and family member that registers for PTA on or before August 31, 2026, will enter their student into a drawing to win 1 of 4 prizes (Pictured Below).

RULES: Parents must use the link provided below to register directly on the PTA Website. Make sure to select Bastrop ISD as the school district and Bastrop Middle School as the campus.

Then complete the prompts as requested.

Registration must be completed on or before August 31, 2026, to be eligible for the drawing.

IMPORTANT: In order for your student to be entered into the drawing, you must include their full name and grade in the "Membership Reference" box. (i.e. Atty-Ray Russell, 8th Grade).

📣 SAVE THE DATE — Our First General PTA Meeting! 📣

We’re excited to kick off the new school year with our first General PTA Meeting on Wednesday, September 16, 2026! 🎉

⏰ Time: TBD — we’ll share the time as soon as it’s finalized.

This meeting is especially important because we will be voting to approve our new PTA bylaws. Your participation and voice matter as we establish the guidelines that will help shape our PTA moving forward. ♥️

We strongly encourage all PTA members and families to attend and be part of this important step for our organization!
