This Memorial Day we are drawn to the fact that the day after Mr. Walsh’s 100th birthday party he was handing out poppies at Shoprite at 8 am. The money raised by poppy sales allows Post 7858 to give it away and make our planet a better place. It’s a beautiful way that these men honor the lives of their lost friends and Comrades. Caring for loving causes honors the men and women who sacrificed their lives for our freedoms.
This is one of the ways our veterans honor the idea of Memorial Day.

Thank you to everyone who came to our event! We DOUBLED our goal! It was extraordinary! Thank you to the businesses that made the event possible. Everyone donated with the most overwhelming sense of purpose and love. The vibe of the night was connection and helped us all lean towards what is good about this life.

To start off by naming a few…

⭐️💛 Our Hearts & Stars fundraiser was an incredible night filled with overwhelming love and good will.

⭐️💛 From being greeted with signature drinks “The Betty” and “The Bob” honoring Mr. Walsh’s 72 year marriage, to the trolly rides, delicious pizza and singing Happy Birthday to our 100 year old birthday boy, it was an extraordinary night.
