Paul Humbert opposes the Allen Road Project.

I oppose The Allen Road Project.

I support the Zoning Board of Adjustment's wise decision to deny the application for this project. The Allen Road Project is not right for Bernards and has far too many negative impacts on our community. Therefore, I strongly oppose it.

I support responsible redevelopment of obsolete office properties, but redevelopment must make sense for the location, surrounding neighborhoods, traffic patterns and the long-term charm of Bernards Township. We should not accept development simply because a property needs a new use.

Residents have invested enormous time and effort raising legitimate concerns about this proposal. They deserve to be heard and their views respected.

We can welcome economic development without accepting every development proposal that comes before us. The Allen Road Project is not the right project for this location.

I would like to share why I admire Vanathi Raghupathy.

Political campaigns can reveal a great deal about a person. Campaigns test and reveal your character, your principles, your resilience, and your willingness to keep moving forward when the outcome is not what you hoped it would be.

Vanathi revealed herself to be not only an outstanding candidate but more importantly, a good and selfless person, running for the right reasons. That is why I admire Vanathi Raghupathy.

Today was such a wonderful celebration of community, culture, and friendship at the BRIC Holi Festival!

I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon meeting families, catching up with friends, and talking with residents about the issues that matter most to them. One of my favorite parts of campaigning has been the opportunity to connect with so many people from every corner of Bernards Township and hear their stories, ideas, and hopes for our community.

Thank you to the Basking Ridge Indian Community for organizing another fantastic event and for all the volunteers who made the day possible. Holi is a beautiful celebration of joy, unity, and new beginnings, and it was an honor to be part of it.

I was especially grateful to share the day with my running mate, Paul Humbert, as we continue working to earn your support.

I was humbled to be bestowed the honor of presenting the wreath today at the solemn ceremony downtown.
