Peter Quince wants to put on a play to celebrate the wedding of Hippolyta and Theseus – a telling of the tragic love story of Pyramus and Thisbe. He gathers a group of rude mechanicals – Bottom the weaver, Snug the joiner, Starveling the tailor, and Snout the tinker – to cast his script. He decides to rehearse one night in the forest so others in town don’t see the show before it is presented. But then Puck wanders into the rehearsal and puts a spell on Bottom so he turns into a half man half donkey.
Will Bottom return to himself in time for the wedding so the actors can put on their play? Come find out this weekend at the final performances of A Midsummer Night's Dream. Tickets are available at the door. Don’t miss your chance to laugh out loud at this hilarity. The actors have taken pains to be perfect.
