Hearts For Hooves Sanctuary We are a 501(c)3 non-profit, offering a safe place for unwanted, neglected and farming cast-offs.

To provide sanctuary and or foster to unwanted farm animals, generally cast-offs of commercial farming or from the general public who can no longer care for “pet” farm animals (such as mini-pigs that are falsely advertised as “teacup”) that require more care and work than they expected. To rehabilitate neglected farm animals until such a time as they are able to live a life free of fear and pain and provide a safe place for them to live out a happy natural life.

It was time to order new signs! When Bartok arrived, it was uncertain if he would stay or a new home would be found due to how large he would get! Since day one he has been nothing but a sweetheart and despite his size, has remained nothing but friendly and silly and non- destructive to fencing, pens and fellow residents.

Now it's official! He's not going anywhere 🩷🩷🩷 and the vet will be out soon to take care of everyone's yearly care and removing Barties ever growing nuggets!! 😳

Cleanup has started! I cannot even begin to express how much getting this tractor has helped....thanks to your help! 🙏🏻 Spring clean out of the paddocks is the worst 😖, but no where near as bad as it used to be doing it all by shovel and cart! 😘😘 You all rock! 🩷🙌🏻

Cuteness alert!! There is a new little girl here and she's even smaller than Molly! Bartok is smitten! 🥰.

Little Maple is here because her long time companion had passed away a while back and she was just lonely and depressed.🥺 Now she's just annoyed.🤣 Bartok won't leave her alone because he loves her, and Molly won't leave her alone because she hates her🤦🏻‍♀️ That's just the way with pigs though. Pretty soon everything will be smoothed over and they'll be snuggling together like old friends! 😍🩷

Even better, her Mom and Dad are only 5 minutes away and can visit anytime! 😘

Came home from work to discover he somehow managed to squeeze under the fence between the pens and was hanging with the big kids....and holding his own just fine I might add. So I left him in there😁

Came out the next morning and he was back with his donkey buddies!!! 🤷🏻‍♀️🤪

Make up your mind buddy! 🤣 Guess he'll have the best of both sides of the fence, depending on his mood. 😜

Well no screaming, despite the original helpers lack of motivation! 🤣 Thankfully and came by and made it happen, because after seeing how big this thing actually was....there was no way It was going up without them!🤪 Perfect timing as well because the next day was nothing but rain🙄.
