Today's club maintains around 50 to 60 members and owns and operates 2 VHF repeaters. in Baraboo, WI. Use the west entrance to the building near the parking lot.

We hold regular meetings on the first Tuesday of each month at the Baraboo City Services Building (450 Roundhouse Ct) at 7pm. We share meeting nights with the Sauk County ARES/RACES group at the January, April, July, and October meetings. Meetings are open to anyone so come out and say hello!

Tell me why this is the most realistic fundraiser idea I’ve ever heard?!

Forget wrapping paper, cookie dough, and selling things nobody actually wants… give a mom an iced coffee while she’s sitting in the pickup line and watch that PTO budget EXPLODE.

The real question is… why aren’t we doing this already?!

We are only a couple short weeks away from our two day technician license workshop and testing session! If you've ever thought about getting your amateur radio license, here's a golden opportunity for you.

The workshop starts at 9 a.m. both days. Testing will be at about 1 p.m. on Subday, November 8.

Yesterday, Club president KD9DZT along with KC9UPE decided to take on an interesting challenge. As we’ve shared in the past, many of our members enjoy engaging in Parks on the Air. These two decided to take it one step further and activate - successfully - from the ice! The setup was done at Mirror Lake State Park just outside of Lake Delton in Sauk County.

As you can see from the log, the bands were HOT! The two had 173 contacts in two hours.
