AmeriCorps service can be a strong fit for college students, retirees, or anyone looking to re-enter the workforce. In addition to a living stipend, members who successfully complete their term earn an education award that can be applied toward college tuition or used to pay down student loans.

United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley is currently recruiting for an AmeriCorps position that offers a meaningful opportunity to be a change agent in our region. This role focuses on closing gaps and removing barriers for individuals and families by providing targeted social and emotional support and connecting underserved residents to vital community resources. Members also build partnerships with local nonprofits and deepen their understanding of the services available throughout our community.
