Partners In Excellence Scholarship Program Partners In Excellence supports the mission of Archdiocese of Baltimore Community Schools in Baltimore City by providing tuition assistance scholarships.

Founded in 1996, the Partners In Excellence (PIE) Scholarship Program of the Archdiocese of Baltimore seeks to address a key mission of the Catholic Church: to promote educational equity in Baltimore. Over the past 25 years, PIE has given thousands of students an opportunity for success in school and in life by providing the tuition assistance needed to enroll in a Catholic school. Through the generosity of individuals, businesses and foundations, scholarship recipients receive the benefits of a sound Catholic education in a safe school, regardless of their own religious affiliation. With a tradition of providing a strong values-based education with high expectations for behavior and effort in a deeply caring and personalized school setting, Baltimore Catholic schools are setting these students on a path towards success.

Happy National Coaches Day!

We caught up with Coach Josh Ward, Varsity Football Coach at Our Lady of Mount Carmel School and asked him why he coaches. His response was simple, “I love coaching football because of the relationships you build for a lifetime with your student-athletes. I love seeing the growth of a student-athlete from when he walks through the doors as a freshman to when he graduates and goes off to college.”

Thank you to Coach Ward, and to all the coaches who dedicate their time, energy, and heart to helping student-athletes grow both on and off the field, track, pool, court, and everywhere in between. Your impact lasts far beyond the final whistle. 👏

PS - Join Partners In Excellence and see Coach Ward in action as he takes on the Archbishop Curley High School Football Team at UA Stadium on Saturday, October 24th for the PIE Homecoming Classic! Get your tickets here: https://www.pieschools.org/pie-homecoming-classic/

🍎 Happy National Teachers Day!🍎

Today, we’re celebrating and thanking all the incredible teachers who go above and beyond to make learning meaningful, memorable, and fun. Your creativity, dedication, patience, and passion make a lasting impact on students every single day!

And a special shoutout to Mrs. Prempeh, who knows how to make learning an adventure! From transforming her classroom into a whole circus theme to hosting an annual Shark Tank event, she brings creativity and excitement into the classroom in a way her students won’t soon forget. 🎪🦈

Thank you to Mrs. Prempeh and teachers everywhere for inspiring the next generation, one lesson, one idea, and one student at a time! We appreciate you today and every day! 🍎📚✨

The breakfast, sponsored annually by PIE to support Catholic students in the Archdiocese of Baltimore, invites local business leaders to network, hear about the impact on students and schools, and – the organizers hope – contribute to the cause.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us for the PIE Back to School Breakfast and supported PIE Giving Day this week. For 30 years, Partners in Excellence has been strengthened by a community that believes in our students, our schools, and the opportunities made possible through Catholic education.

Together, we raised more than $225,000! Your generosity helps provide tuition assistance to students and families across our Catholic schools. Whether you made a gift, joined us at the Breakfast, shared our message, or supported PIE throughout the year, thank you for continuing to be an important part of our mission. 💙
