Have you heard the news? Unity School District has proposed a referendum this November that would build a new building addition for career and technical education (CTE) and provide funding to hire additional CTE teachers. The additional space would allow woods and metals classes to be offered at the same time, and provide new space for agriculture, culinary arts, healthcare, family and consumer sciences, and automotive technology courses.

The plan is in response to the growing need for skilled workers in our communities and strong demand from students. Last year, roughly half of all Unity graduates either began work in a trade or went on to pursue a two-year technical degree, so this plan has big implications for our kids!

The WI Section 1 FFA Fall Leadership Workshop in Amery was a blast for 21 of our chapter members! Students learned all about the FFA and it’s opportunities within the organization. It was great to network with over 200 FFA members from northwestern Wisconsin and bring back so many ideas for our chapter.

The Wisconsin State FFA Band and Choir are continuing to share their incredible talents at the Wisconsin State Fair in West Allis! 🎶💙💛

It’s so fun to watch these talented FFA members represent Wisconsin FFA and entertain fairgoers with their music. Today was extra special because we welcomed James’s parents to the fair too! What a fun day to celebrate the hard work and talent! 🎺🎤
