September is Service Dog Awareness Month, and we are incredibly proud to once again partner with Operation At Ease Inc for their 5th annual Paw Print Campaign!
Throughout September, you can visit any Benson’s Pet Center location and purchase a paw print. 100% of every dollar raised goes directly to Operation At Ease and their incredible mission of taking dogs from shelters and rescues, providing them with training and support, and pairing them with veterans and first responders who need them.
Nala’s story is a perfect example of why this partnership means so much to us. After being found as a stray and spending months at Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, Nala found her way to Operation At Ease. Despite everything she had been through, they saw her potential, gave her the time and support she needed, and today she is home with her Marine and making strides every day.
We are so grateful for the support of our community and our rescue partners. When you purchase a paw print at Benson’s, you’re not just making a donation, you’re helping give a shelter dog like Nala a second chance while helping a veteran or first responder find a life-changing companion.
