Looking for ways to get your TEEN off screens this summer? Here are 25 adventures right here in Central New Yor! Can you add to the list?

1. Climb the giant rope web and explore the waterfront playground at Lake Neatahwanta Park.
2. Mountain bike the trails at Green Lakes State Park.
3. Hike to the base of the 50-foot waterfall at Tinker Falls.
4. Swim in the glacial lakes at Green Lakes State Park.
5. Walk down to the impressive waterfall at Chittenango Falls State Park.
6. Explore the cliffs and unique geology at Clark Reservation State Park.
7. Bike 10 miles of the Erie Canal Trail.
8. Explore all of the area’s ice cream stands!
9. Try paddleboarding on Oneida Lake.
10. Spend an afternoon paddleboarding on Skaneateles Lake.
11. Play a round of disc golf at Jamesville Beach Park.
12. Challenge friends to disc golf at Van Buren Central Park.
13. Fish from the shore at Oneida Lake at sunrise.
14. Learn how to fish from a kayak with a parent or mentor.

Yesterday was our first Nature Play Connection Day for neurodivergent children. Everyone had such a blast! It was great to see kiddos from the ages of 3 to 14 connecting together. Natalie gave a tour of the whole property. Kids jumped on the trampoline together. They caught frogs and held chicks. They defeated fear on the Zip line. They delved into nature. They made bright slime,  blew bubbles, swinged together, played with stuffies, and giggled a lot.
Music to the parents’ ears while they shared their struggles and successes with their neurodivergent journeys.

Are you feeling the pain of the gas prices like we are? I have some families driving 50+ miles for our programming so I am reducing the costs for everyone!

July Tuesdays Family programming is now $25 a day instead of $35!

And the August drop off camp is now $100 a week for one kid, down from $200! Two kiddos attend for $185 and three attend for $240.

Happy New Years friends! It’s been sooooo snowy here in CNY but hopefully the weather warms enough for some sledding meet ups!

I’ve been working my FT job A LOT but Kids Unplugged CNY IS STILL SO DEAR TO MY HEART and I am excited for a few epic events in the works for Spring/Summer 2026!

In the meantime I wanted to share this awesome news for all working parents!
