Good Fight Foundation organized a field trip for our garden members to attend the “Radical Histories: Chicano Prints from the Smithsonian American Art Museum,” exhibit at the Huntington Library. The exhibition’s 60 bold works by some 40 artists span more than six decades of Chicano printmaking as a form of resistance, community building, and cultural reclamation. We connected that history to the El Monte Berry Strike of 1933 and our current struggles for socio economic freedom. It is an honor to be a steward of the same land that our ancestors have been fighting for. ¡Viva la jardin de La Madera!, ¡Viva la resistencia! 🇲🇽✊🏽⛓️💥
