Today we had the pleasure of welcoming **Waco Elite** to the league for the very first time! ⚽🩷

Waco Elite originally registered for our Girls Division, but unfortunately we didn't have enough teams to make that division happen this season. Instead of sitting out, they stepped up and joined our Coed Division.

With a couple of boys helping complete the roster, these talented girls came ready to compete—and they proved they're here to play. We're excited to have Waco Elite as part of the Barrientos Soccer League and can't wait to see what they accomplish this season!

Waco Elite es un equipo femenil que originalmente se había inscrito en nuestra categoría exclusiva para niñas. Lamentablemente, esta temporada no logramos reunir suficientes equipos para abrir esa división.

Pero eso no las detuvo. Decidieron unirse con mucho entusiasmo a nuestra división mixta, contando con el apoyo de un par de niños para completar su plantilla.

¡Estas chicas vienen con muchas ganas de competir y demostrar su talento! Estamos muy contentos de tener a Waco Elite en la Barrientos Soccer League y les deseamos mucho éxito esta temporada.

We had just a couple of games in our U10 and U12 divisions this past Saturday as the Summer 2026 season continues to get underway. It's been a slow and steady start because we're still welcoming new teams into both divisions, and we're excited to see the competition continue to grow. Even with the summer heat, the players came ready to compete.

In the U10 division, Las Aguilas earned a 3-0 victory over Halcones U10, led by a two-goal performance from Maurilio Montelongo. The win moves Las Aguilas into first place in the standings.

In the U12 division, Halcones U12 put on a dominant display, defeating Texas Toros U12 by an impressive 7-0 scoreline to kick off their season in style.

Este sábado solo tuvimos un par de partidos en nuestras divisiones U10 y U12, ya que la temporada de Verano 2026 apenas está tomando ritmo. El inicio ha sido tranquilo porque todavía seguimos recibiendo nuevos equipos que se están integrando a ambas categorías. Aun así, con todo y el calor, los jugadores salieron a la cancha listos para competir.

En la categoría U10, Las Águilas derrotó 3-0 a Halcones U10, con una destacada actuación de Maurilio Montelongo, quien anotó dos goles. Con este resultado, Las Águilas asciende al primer lugar de la tabla de posiciones.

En la división U12, Halcones U12 tuvo una actuación dominante al vencer 7-0 a Texas Toros U12, iniciando la temporada con una contundente victoria.
