It’s that time! 💖⚽
Time for pink everywhere, ribbons, bows, glitter, and most importantly… time for the GIRLS!

Yesterday, for the very first time ever, we kicked off our Girls Only Division. We had girls mostly between the ages of 5 to 10, and let me tell you — the pink could probably be seen all the way from Field 5!

We have 4 brave teams of young girls who stepped onto the field and proudly said, “We want to play.” This first season is all about building something special. We knew there would be challenges and a few bumps along the way as we tested the waters, but overall it was a beautiful first day. The girls showed heart, excitement, and a real love for the game — and you could feel it from the sidelines.

So boys… watch out, because the girls are coming to town! 💪⚽✨

We are so excited to see this grow into even more teams and hopefully more age divisions in the future, God willing.

Thank you to all the coaches, players, and parents for starting this journey with us. This is only the beginning. Now let’s have some fun! 💖 Because girls just want to have fun 🎶

¡Ha llegado el momento! 💖⚽
Tiempo de rosa por todos lados, listones, moños, brillo y, lo más importante… ¡el momento de las NIÑAS!

Ayer, por primera vez en la historia, iniciamos nuestra División Exclusiva de Niñas. Tuvimos jugadoras mayormente entre los 5 y 10 años, y déjenme decirles — ¡el rosa se podía ver desde la cancha 5!

Tenemos 4 valientes equipos de niñas pequeñas que pisaron la cancha y dijeron con orgullo: “¡queremos jugar!” Esta primera temporada se trata de construir algo especial. Sabíamos que habría retos y algunos tropiezos mientras probábamos cómo funcionaba todo, pero en general fue un primer día hermoso. Las niñas mostraron corazón, emoción y un verdadero amor por el fútbol — y se sentía al verlas.

Así que chicos… cuídense, porque ¡ahi vienen las niñas! 💪⚽✨

Estamos muy emocionados de ver cómo esto crece a más equipos y ojalá más divisiones de edades en el futuro, si Dios quiere.

Gracias a todos los entrenadores, jugadoras y padres por iniciar este camino con nosotros. Esto apenas comienza. ¡Ahora vamos a divertirnos! 💖 Porque las niñas solo quieren divertirse 🎶

Let’s give a big welcome to another new team joining our U8 division this season — Evolution FC! ⚽🔥
This young group is joining us for the first time and came ready to compete. Most of these players are from Waco with one player from Hewitt, and they are also one of the youngest teams in our league with players ranging from ages 4 to 6.
Their coach told us, “We’re ready for the challenge — we want to toughen them up!” 💪 And honestly… more power to them! We admire their courage, heart, and willingness to compete.
We are very grateful to have Evolution FC participating with us this season and want to give them the warmest welcome to the league. We can’t wait to see this team grow and shine this season! 🌟

¡Démosle una gran bienvenida a otro nuevo equipo que se une a nuestra división U8 esta temporada — Evolution FC! ⚽🔥

Este joven grupo se une con nosotros por primera vez y llegó listo para competir. La mayoría de estos jugadores son de Waco con un jugador de Hewitt, y además son uno de los equipos más jóvenes de nuestra liga con edades entre 4 y 6 años.

Su entrenador nos dijo: “¡Estamos listos para el reto — queremos hacerlos más fuertes!” 💪 Y sinceramente… ¡que bien por ellos! Admiramos su valentía, corazón y ganas de competir.

Yesterday was their very first day participating with us, and they came out ready to compete! They played two games and did an amazing job representing their team on the field.

These players come from a mix of China Spring, Waco, Lorena, and Robinson, and we are very excited and grateful to have Cobras F.C. with us this season.

All games scheduled for tomorrow will be postponed.

After reviewing the fields and surrounding conditions, we’ve decided it’s best not to play. While the fields themselves are manageable, the parking areas have accumulated water, which could cause vehicles to get stuck in the mud. There’s also a possibility of more rain overnight.

Games scheduled for tomorrow will now be played on May 30th, and finals will be pushed back one week to June 6th.

Después de revisar las condiciones de los campos y sus alrededores, hemos decidido que lo mejor es no jugar. Aunque los campos están en condiciones aceptables, las áreas de estacionamiento tienen acumulación de agua, lo que podría causar que los vehículos se queden atascados en el lodo. We’ll be monitoring the weather. Thankfully, our fields have solid ground that holds up well and doesn’t get muddy easily. However, if we get excessive rain tomorrow, games may need to be postponed. Either way, we’ll keep everyone posted here.

Attention: New Open Roster Spots Available for Individual Players

We’ve recently had a few spots open up and are now looking to add individual players:

Leos (U12) – Coach Andrea can add 1 player
Mexia Cats (U14) – Coach Efrain can take 2–3 additional players
Halcones (U12 & U14)- Coach Christopher can take in two players on each team.

If you’re an individual player looking for a team, this is your chance to secure one of the only available spots we currently have.
