🏀⚽🏈 THERE’S A PLACE FOR EVERY CHILD IN SPORTS. 💛🖤

That’s exactly what we’re creating with the Adaptive & Inclusive Youth Sports Program at AYS.

Designed for youth with disabilities, this program gives athletes the opportunity to try new sports in a supportive environment, build skills and confidence, make connections, and discover where they belong in the sports world.

Over 9 weeks (Jan. 4–Mar. 7, 2027), athletes will experience three sports:

🏀 Weeks 1–3: Basketball
⚽ Weeks 4–6: Soccer
🏈 Weeks 7–9: Flag Football

The goal? Try it. Explore it. Find what you love. Maybe that’s one sport, maybe it’s all three! Along the way, athletes will develop skills both on and off the court/field.

🤝 And we want their peers in the game, too!

Youth K–12 who want to support athletes with disabilities can participate as Peer Mentors, helping teammates learn skills, build confidence, navigate teamwork, and—most importantly—feel like they belong.

And while our athletes are learning and growing, the best part is, so are we!

This is a new program for AYS, and we’re excited to learn alongside our athletes, families, coaches, peer mentors, and community as we build something meaningful together.

📅 Registration is open through November 30!
