AYS Junior Orioles Softball program on the rise!

The 14U Girls Junior Orioles Softball team brought home another win this weekend after a trip to Logansport, Indiana for the “Mothers Know Best” tournament. The weekend was filled with fun, team bonding, and plenty of special memories for the girls and their moms.

With this tournament victory, the 14U Junior Orioles have climbed to a USSSA Power Ranking of #4 in the state in the 14U C division which is a huge accomplishment for this talented group of athletes and coaches.

The team also made Mother’s Day extra special by surprising their moms with customized arm sleeves featuring their moms’ picture, along with custom jerseys for Sunday’s games that included their moms’ names and heartfelt messages on the back.

A huge thank you to all of the moms who spent their Mother’s Day weekend at the ballfields supporting their daughters. Your love, support, and dedication mean everything to these girls and this program!

Lace up for the first-ever AYS Elementary Mile, presented by Avon Youth Sports, Jr. Runners League 👟🏁

Join us May 23rd at Cedar Elementary for a fun, community-focused race supporting the AYS Jr. Runners League. This fundraising event celebrates movement, community, and the excitement of gearing up for our Fall Jr. Runners Cross Country season. 💙

Everyone attending is encouraged to register—even if you’re not participating in the race/run! Everyone who registers will be entered into the AYS Community Mile raffle 🎉

Open to Kindergarten–6th grade, this program brings energy, teamwork, and confidence to the sidelines all fall long while cheering on our football teams 🏈 Practices begin in July as we gear up for game days!

AYS Field Clean-Up Day is tomorrow! Volunteer Opportunity Reminder!

This is a volunteer-based event — no skills required, and every helping hand counts! Bring gloves, dress for the weather, and join us to get the fields ready for the season.
