Last night during a torrential thunderstorm 189 family and friends of our 16 outstanding Distinguished Young Women of Avon Participants (Class of 2027) watched Self Expression, Talent, and Fitness.
Here were the Top Performances:

🇺🇸Interview: Rodiat Gbadamosi, Mili Patel, Addison Moore
🇺🇸Self Expression: Sydney Baker, Hannah Foster, Addison Moore
🇺🇸Fitness: Brooke Widner, Bailey Prock, Addison Moore
🇺🇸Talent: Audrey Hershey, Bailey Prock, Rodiat Gbadamosi
🇺🇸Scholastic:
2nd Runner-up Audrey Hershey
1st Runner -up Bailey Prock
Overall Scholastic Hannah Foster
🇺🇸DYW 2nd Runner up: Brooke Widner
🇺🇸DYW 1st Runner up: Addison Moore

Thank you to the tireless work that the DYW of Avon Committee puts into this Program, raising Scholarships totaling over $18,000 this year, production crew that put all the sound and lights, silent auction, basket raffle, Little Sisters, Campers, our Judges, to Brandan Baker as Emcee, and let’s never forget our Sponsors that support the participants throughout the week! Each year we are blessed to receive a Book Scholarship courtesy of the Virginia & John Sinclair Family Foundation that provides each participant a scholarship to get their college savings off to a great start!

It is Day 3 of DYW of Avon rehearsals and the first Workshop! Tonight the Participants were coached up on Self Expression by the very capable Nina Koehler. Nina brings years of public speaking experience to the Program and to the Self Expression Workshop. Her tips are always confidence-building for our Participants who have some times never spoken at a microphone or in front of a group! We appreciate her support and expertise!
