Avon Lions have completed two weeks of vision screening at our local nursery’s, and Avon Public Schools! We sit about 3’ away from the children, and utilize Welch Allyn Spot Vison Cameras. This is totally non-invasive, and can detect vision issues. (The norm is 10-15% referrals).
The nurse shares results with the parents, so a doctor can do further assessments.
This is one of our favorite service projects!

Thank you for all of those who came out for the carnival and fireworks!! We really appreciate all of your highly appreciative comments!! Such as how it was a great family night out. How they loved making new connections with others, and a place where the community can come together!

Tomorrow the carnival with food trucks continues 3-10, and 12-5 Sunday at 99 Thompson Rd! Come join us with two more gorgeous days on tap!
