It's Volunteer week in the UK!! We are in the USA but appreciate our volunteers everyday! We could not do our work and our mission without our volunteers!! Gratitude!!

Mocha as many know is very sensitive to insect bites. Today we gave her new socks with colorful carrots on them. We think she looks fab!!

Miss Blossom....the sweetest girl. Orphaned at 5 months old she loves attention. She just wants to be loved.
I always think of the Dr. Seuss book " Are you my mother?".
Blossom looks at every visitor as to ask "Are you my friend?".

**Knowing her is to love her

Acorn is our only male donkey. He is full of vim and vigor. Loves attention especially if he thinks you might have a snack. He loves to pester his mom Bernice....and she gives it right back to him.

Donkey play can look quite crazy...somewhat aggressive but they know what they are doing and enjoy kicking each other and rough housing.

Never get tired of watching donkey behavior.

This morning we had a visitor and our volunteers were able to experience the alarm calls and responses of our farm friends.

Bucky the goat, alarm called with his sneeze/ snort letting everyone know there was danger.

The donkeys stood alert with their ears up tall. And the sheep remained close to the herd.

Fortunately for us this bear just mosied over to our neighbors. Unfortunately to their garbage can.
