Today, on World Mental Health Day, we recognize the importance of prioritizing mental wellness.

Research continues to show that physical activity, time in nature, meaningful social connection, and mindfulness can positively impact mental health. These principles are woven into every Operation Surf program, helping Veterans and active duty military build tools they can carry long after they leave the beach.

From site set up and food runners to beach support and helping behind the scenes, every role is essential to creating a transformational experience for the Veterans we serve.
