🌱 Thank you to our 2026 farm crew! 🌱

The crew at the Village Exchange Center farm this year was amazing and so much fun to work with! Our five Urban Farming Immersion program students each grew vegetables in their own beds and helped with every part of farm operations. They are what made the farm run, and they received hands-on training along the way.

We’re so grateful for everything they did this season. Thank you! 💚

🌱 ¡Gracias a nuestro equipo de la granja 2026! 🌱

¡Gracias! 💚

🌱 That’s a wrap on the 2026 growing season!🌸

Our first frost arrived last night, which means our plants have officially finished for the season. ❄️

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who supported the farm this year by purchasing CSA bouquets, joining our You-Pick flower events, and volunteering! 💐

Together, we grew over 6,500 pounds of produce for our community and created LOTS of beautiful bouquets. We couldn’t have done it without you! 💚

Stay tuned to see what’s growing next in 2027! 🌻

🌱 ¡Así concluimos la temporada de cultivo 2026! 🌸

🇬🇹Celebrating community and connection!

Last week, our Village Pantry prepared food provisions for 50 families on behalf of the Guatemalan Consulate’s Día del Niño celebration. The Pantry also provided baby formula, baby food, and RTD tickets to share with families in the Guatemalan community.

We’re grateful for opportunities to partner with organizations like the Guatemalan Consulate and support our community in meaningful ways.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible!

🌱✨ A beautiful evening at the VEC Farm!

This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming a wonderful group to the Village Exchange Center Farm for a special private gathering filled with good food, conversation, community, and connection. 💚

We’re so grateful to everyone who joined us and took the time to experience the Farm and learn more about the work happening here in our community.

As one guest shared after the evening:

“Wow! What a great evening. We all had such a good time. Thanks for all that you do to make the community a better place for all of us.”

That’s what the Farm is all about — bringing people together, growing community, and creating spaces where everyone feels welcome. 🌱🤝🏽

Thank you for spending the evening with us. We hope to see you again soon! 💚

🌸 Flowers grown right here in our neighborhood! 🌱

This year, our Village Farm CSA (Community-Supported Agriculture) brought 275 locally grown bouquets to over 55 community members. 💐

Store-bought flowers are beautiful, but there’s something special about flowers grown right here in our community and prepared by our UFI participants.

We sold out quickly this year, so be sure to look out for next year’s CSA!
Information coming soon.

💬 “I love picking these flowers up every week. It brings joy to my day.”

🌸 ¡Flores cultivadas aquí mismo, en nuestra comunidad! 🌱
