Are you or someone you know between the ages of 14–17 looking for an opportunity to grow, connect, and lead?

Youth Natural Leaders is a FREE leadership program focused on:
🧠 Mental health & wellness
💪 Physical health
🤝 Mentorship
📚 Education & leadership development
🏔️ Outdoor adventures & experiences

Through this program, youth have the opportunity to build confidence, develop leadership skills, connect with mentors, and experience the outdoors in a supportive community.

A BIG thank you to Craig Hospital in Englewood, Colorado, for choosing Village Exchange Center as a recipient of this year’s Big Give! 🎒💙

Through this incredible employee-led campaign, Craig Hospital—an internationally recognized leader in spinal cord and brain injury rehabilitation—filled more than 200 backpacks with school supplies for children in our community!

A special shoutout to Jo Donlin, whose kindness and beautiful smile completely won over the kids—they all wanted a photo with her! ❤️

We are so grateful for our partnership with Craig Hospital and for the leadership of Dr. Jandel Allen-Davis and Jo Donlin in making this possible. Thank you for helping our kids start the school year ready to learn! 📚✨

VEC would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to Mane Joy Connection for their incredible partnership and support of our Horse Leadership Program! 🐴💙

Through this partnership, VEC youth had the opportunity to learn valuable skills in horse care and horseback riding. For many of our youth, this was their very first time riding a horse; an experience that brought excitement, confidence, and new opportunities for growth.

We are proud of the progress and success we have seen throughout the program and grateful to Mane Joy Connection for helping create such meaningful experiences for our youth and community! 🌟

Every bouquet purchased helps support our Urban Farming Immersion Training Program that empowers participants with a hands-on farming experience while growing food and flowers for our community.

This week, our team harvested over 200 pounds of fresh produce for the Village Exchange Food Pantry at the Farm at Stanley! 🌾

Our harvest included:
🧅 Onions
🥬 Spinach
❤️ Beets
🌱 Daikon Radishes

Our Urban Farming Immersion Program participants are gaining hands-on experience learning how to grow, harvest, and care for a wide variety of vegetables and flowers while helping provide fresh, nutritious food to our community.

Together, we're growing food, skills, and stronger communities! 🌻💚
