SIEOC is currently seeking:

FAMILY SERVICE WORKER (Aurora/Rising Sun area and Brookville/Laurel area)
36 hours/week; 48 weeks/year
Responsibilities: Engages families involved in the Head Start program through home-based services, addressing the complex issues which limit many families in achieving self-sufficiency.
Requirements: High School Diploma/GED required. One year of experience working with families and direct client assistance is required. Once employed, ongoing training in family development, including parenting, is required.
Starting Rate of Pay: $18.49/hour

TEACHER ASSISTANT (Substitute)
40 hours/week; 40 weeks/year
Responsibilities: Assist the Classroom Teacher in all aspects of the classroom activity, providing a safe, active and child-oriented environment.
Requirements: High School Diploma/GED required with on-going professional development to obtain a CDA.
Starting Rate of Pay: $15.64/hour; $16.15 with CDA

CLASSROOM AIDE (Lawrenceburg, Moores Hill, East Enterprise)
28 hours/week; 40 weeks/year
Responsibilities: Essential job responsibilities include food duties (i.e., prep, service, cleanup). Assists the classroom teacher in all aspects of the classroom activity, providing a safe, active and child-oriented environment.
Requirements: High School Diploma/GED required. Experience as a volunteer in the Head Start classroom would be helpful.
Starting Rate of Pay: $14.08/hour

CLASSROOM AIDE FLOATER
20 hours/week; 40 weeks/year
Responsibilities: Essential job responsibilities include food and supply delivery.
Requirements: High School Diploma/GED required. Experience as a volunteer in the Head Start classroom would be helpful.
Starting Rate of Pay: $14.08/hour

FULL-TIME BENEFITS
SIEOC offers a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees (30–40 hours per week), including health, dental, and life insurance; paid holidays; paid vacation and medical time; an incentive plan; and a 401(k). You must be 18 years old.

With this grant funding, CKF of SIEOC will continue to educate, advocate, and connect all Hoosiers to health insurance. How fun will the Pumpkin Decorating Contest be from 4-6 pm on Halloween at Rising Sun Main Street? Prizes include $50, $25, $10 and $10 gift cards from local Rising Sun businesses. Most Rising Sun Main Street stores open that night will offer trick or treat stops. Decorated or carved pumpkins are welcome, but please no on-site decorating or carving. Pumpkins will be under staged cover and on tables for viewing. More details on voting/judging to come......

The Batesville Community School Corporation (BCSC), in partnership with Margaret Mary Health (MMH), will host a vaccine fair on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, from 4 to 6 PM in the BCSC Administration Building conference room, located directly behind Batesville High School at 626 North Huntersville Road.

The vaccine fair will offer student-required and recommended immunizations. In addition, the clinic will offer the flu vaccine for adults. The clinic is open to anyone in the community. No registration is required.

Please note that besides the flu vaccine, other adult-specific vaccinations such as COVID-19 will not be available at this event.
