SIEOC Community Action Agency We are dedicated to improving the conditions under which people live, learn & work. clubs, religious organizations, businesses).

Southeastern Indiana Economic Opportunity Corporation (SIEOC) is a private, not-for-profit organization registered with the State of Indiana since 1965. SIEOC supports activities helping individuals in need of assistance, as well as low-income families, in many ways:

* Remove obstacles and solve problems that block the achievement of self-sufficiency
* Assist with securing and retaining meaningf

ul employment
* Help individuals attain adequate education
* Promote better use of available income
* Assist in obtaining & maintaining adequate housing and a suitable living environment
* Obtain emergency assistance for immediate & urgent family and individual need
* Participate in the affairs of the community including the development of public & private partnerships
* Address the needs of youth through youth development programs
* Coordinate with other programs

In accordance with Public Law 100, Acts of 1982, SIEOC is recognized as a Community Action Agency. All SIEOC services are provided without regard to race, color, s*x, age, religion, national origin or ancestry, marital status, s*xual orientation, disability, citizenship status, military status, genetic information or any other category protected under federal, state or local law. SIEOC is governed by a Board of Directors that consists of individuals from the Public, Private and Low-Income sectors. The Public sector includes representatives of elected officials. The private sector members are representatives of the community (i.e. The Low-Income members represent constituents in their respective county. Starting on May 18th the 1Voice community-based Matrix Group will be moving to the Care Resource Connection at 132 Industrial Rd in Lawrenceburg. This group will meet on Monday and Thursdays at 3:30pm.

This curriculum focused program will be open to anyone, and cost free for all participants. Matrix focuses on developing early recovery skills, identifying and utilizing skills for relapse prevention and focusing on the adjustment from incarceration through reentry.

Registration will be required and can be completed any time at the Care Resource Center prior to attendance of their first group session.
