Southeastern Indiana Economic Opportunity Corporation (SIEOC) is a private, not-for-profit organization registered with the State of Indiana since 1965. SIEOC supports activities helping individuals in need of assistance, as well as low-income families, in many ways:

EDUCATION COORDINATOR
40 hours/week; 52 weeks/year
Responsibilities: Responsible for the education component, assuring compliance with OHS Performance Standards, state regulations, and agency policies.
Requirements: Minimum of a Baccalaureate Degree in Early Childhood Education. A Baccalaureate or advanced degree in a related field of study may be considered with coursework in Early Childhood Education and experience teaching preschool-age children.
Starting Rate of Pay: $25.50/hour

CLASSROOM TEACHER (Aurora, East Enterprise, Mt. Carmel)
40 hours/week; 42 weeks/year
Responsibilities: Provides developmentally appropriate preschool activities in a safe, active, and child-oriented environment; develops lesson plans; arranges for materials and supplies; works closely with the child’s guardian to provide a meaningful classroom experience for the child.
Requirements: Associate degree in Early Childhood Education required, Bachelor's degree preferred. Elementary education or other degrees may be considered.
Starting Rate of Pay: $22.64/hour for Associate Degree; $23.15/hour for Bachelor's Degree

TEACHER ASSISTANT (Moores Hill, Mt. Carmel, Lawrenceburg, Substitute)
40 hours/week; 40 weeks/year
Responsibilities: Assists the Classroom Teacher in all aspects of classroom activity, providing a safe, active, and child-oriented environment.
Requirements: High School Diploma/GED required with ongoing professional development to obtain a CDA.
Starting Rate of Pay: $15.54/hour; $16.05 with CDA

CLASSROOM AIDE (Mt. Carmel, East Enterprise, St. Leon, Moores Hill, Rising Sun)
28 hours/week; 40 weeks/year
Responsibilities: Essential job responsibilities include food duties (i.e., prep, service, and cleanup). Assists the classroom teacher in all aspects of classroom activity, providing a safe, active, and child-oriented environment.
Requirements: High School Diploma/GED required. Experience as a volunteer in a Head Start classroom would be helpful.
Starting Rate of Pay: $13.99/hour

CLASSROOM AIDE FLOATER
20 hours/week; 40 weeks/year
Responsibilities: Essential job responsibilities include food and supply delivery.
Requirements: High School Diploma/GED required. Experience as a volunteer in a Head Start classroom would be helpful.
Starting Rate of Pay: $13.99/hour

BEHAVIOR MANAGEMENT AIDE (Vevay, East Enterprise area)
35 hours/week; 40 weeks/year
Responsibilities: Observes and provides classroom staff/parents with resources and appropriate preschool activities related to behavior management.
Requirements: Associate degree in Early Childhood Education required, Bachelor's degree preferred. Elementary education or other degrees may be considered.
Starting Rate of Pay: $23.66/hour for Associate Degree; $24.18/hour for Bachelor Degree

Starting on May 18th the 1Voice community-based Matrix Group will be moving to the Care Resource Connection at 132 Industrial Rd in Lawrenceburg. This group will meet on Monday and Thursdays at 3:30pm.

This curriculum focused program will be open to anyone, and cost free for all participants. Matrix focuses on developing early recovery skills, identifying and utilizing skills for relapse prevention and focusing on the adjustment from incarceration through reentry.

Registration will be required and can be completed any time at the Care Resource Center prior to attendance of their first group session.
