Three Birds Alliance

Gateway is a 501 (c)3 nonprofit organization providing counseling, residential care and court advocacy services for victims of domestic violence in Colorado.

Three Birds Alliance (formerly Gateway Domestic Violence Services) provides pathways to healing and hope for individuals and families impacted by domestic violence. On average, we receive more than 9,000 crisis calls, provide over 10,000 nights of residence care for families and their pets, and assist with more than 2,000 court advocacy cases for domestic violence victims each year. Gateway relies

on donations from individuals, foundations, businesses, families and the community. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit agency, funding from donations is essential for serving domestic violence victims and empowering people for social change. All donations are tax deductible.

We want to shout out the awesome volunteers from Whole Foods Market stores from across the Denver area for the time they spent with us last week helping to clean up the yards organize supplies at both our emergency and extended-stay shelters!

In addition, Whole Foods donated over 70 pounds of hygiene products and new clothing to help those staying with us in shelter.

We are grateful for their energy and generous spirits.

Our hygiene product drive in partnership with Alpine Bank to help domestic violence survivors is underway, and we need your help! Most-needed items include:

• full size toothpaste
• full size shampoo
• full size conditioner
• full size bodywash
• teen boys’ body wash
• full size lotion
• women’s and teen boys’ deodorant
• women’s & teen boys’ shaving cream
• baby hygiene products
• shower shoes/flip flops

Please come by the Aurora branch of Alpine Bank at 2000 Chester St. to donate new and unopened items. Small donations add up to a big impact for our community.

Nearly half of domestic violence survivors will delay leaving their abusers if they can't take their pets with them.

Three Birds Alliance’s Bailey Project allows families to bring their pets with them to both our emergency and extended stay shelters, where both pets and their human companions can be safe and continue to enjoy each other’s companionship. We are one of the few shelters in Colorado that allows families to bring their pets to shelter with them if they are in danger of abuse.
