Your support can go twice as far!

Thanks to the generosity of the Scott and Trish Karll Charitable Fund, we have $2,500 in matching funds for THIS IS LIVE, our first-ever Fox Valley Music Foundation fundraiser happening at the The Venue on Nov 14.

We'd love to hit this goal ahead of the event, so if you’ve been thinking about supporting the Foundation, this is a great opportunity to double the impact of your gift.

Music matters. Your support makes it happen.

When we announced our first-ever fundraiser, THIS IS LIVE, happening November 14 at The Venue, we hoped people would see the importance of what we’re trying to build. The response so far has been nothing short of fantastic!

While we’re not quite ready for a low-ticket alert, we’re definitely headed in that direction.

And now, thanks to the generosity of The Scott and Trish Karll Charitable Fund, we have $2,500 in matching funds to help us get things started!

It's not too early to support our event. Every donation is impactful, and right now your gift will be matched!

Thank you for continuing to show us why live music matters. Donate here:

I just want to say thank you.

The response to the Bluebird Collective has been tremendous, and honestly, it means a lot to see our community choosing to come alongside the Fox Valley Music Foundation and The Venue in this way.

We’re building something pretty special here—and we can’t do it without you. Your support helps us keep the music playing, support artists, and make The Venue a place that belongs to this community.

If you’ve been thinking about joining, Friday, September 11 is the deadline to receive our limited-run Bluebird Collective T-shirt.

Thanks for believing in what we’re doing and for being part of the journey. 💙🎶

Best, Chris

We love music. We care deeply about our community. And over the past seven years, we’ve done some pretty amazing things together.

In June, our music room, The Venue in downtown Aurora, celebrated its seventh birthday.

Lucky Seven.

Lucky because we have a strong partnership with the City of Aurora.

Lucky because we have a small but gifted creative and production & operations team working tirelessly behind the scenes to bring great music to our stage.

Lucky because we have the most dedicated volunteers anywhere, making each night come to life.

And, finally, lucky because we have you—showing up, show after show, supporting artists, filling the room, and making this place what it is.

We love what we do. We believe our community is better off with live music at its heart—and with The Venue in it.

So let’s keep doing this.

If you believe in what we’re building, please consider supporting us by becoming a member of The Bluebird Collective—an annual membership designed to support the day-to-day operations of The Venue and help keep the music alive throughout the Fox Valley.

The Fox Valley Music Foundation is proud to present the third installment of the DELMARK DAY series this Saturday, April 25! It's a day filled with music, mentorship, good times and most of all, the blues!

The evening begins with a one hour Masterclass led by blues legends The Delmark All-Stars (Mike Wheeler, Big Ray, Larry Williams, Roosevelt Purifoy) as they mentor up and coming vocalist, Jaden Allen. You'll get a "window in" to the rehearsal process, complete real time mentorship, and live Q & A, all steeped in Chicago Blues. DJ Julia Miller will spin rare and classic Delmark Records vinyl during the break before the evening concert, which features a performance from the legendary Jimmy Burns & Soul Message Band!

This celebration, funded by a Music In Action Grant from Live Music Society, brings together the power of live music, education, and Chicago music history under one roof at The Venue.

This is an all ages show - ticket link in comments. See you there!
