What an incredible 48 hours it has been! Over the last 2 days, hundreds of volunteers came together to lend helping hands and really showed what it means to love thy neighbor. Thank you, Rebuilders! Let's do it again soon.

❗ REGISTRATION NOW OPEN: Free Spring Electronics Recycling Event Comes On Saturday, April 25!

♻️ The City of Aurora is hosting a free Electronics Recycling Drive-Thru on Saturday, April 25 from 8 A.M. to 12 P.M. at the Route 59 Metra Train Station, located at 1090 N. IL Route 59.

🌟 All items are free to recycle, including televisions, but registration is required! All residents MUST register in advance for a time slot. Required registration IS NOW OPEN!

✅ The event is open to the first 2,000 Aurora residents who register. ID is also required.
✅ Each vehicle is limited to two screens — either televisions or computer screens — but can have an unlimited number of other electronics.
✅ Only approved household items and electronics will be accepted!

It is that time of year - FREE yard waste collection begins next week in Aurora!

♻️ NEXT WEEK: FREE SPRING YARD WASTE COLLECTION BEGINS!

🗑️ Aurora's Free Spring Yard Waste Collection Program will take place from April 6 through April 20. NO STICKERS will be required for yard waste bags to be collected.

🍃 Yard waste must be placed in a 30-gallon recyclable paper bag and must not exceed 60 pounds.

🚫 Yard waste mixed with garbage or yard waste in a garbage can or plastic bag WILL NOT be collected.
