Monday Meal Pickup – Baked Spaghetti Casserole🍴

Fill those back-to-school tummies with a warm, hearty Baked Spaghetti Casserole! 🍝 It’s an easy, family-friendly dinner for busy school nights. Serves 6+, includes proteins! We also Add On Salads every week! Serves 3-4, $12.00.

We don't do this very often, but sometimes you just need a little break. ☀️

The Grass Roots Institute will NOT be offering Take & Bake Casseroles next Monday, August 17.

We're squeezing in a super-short family vacation with the kiddos before backpacks are packed, alarms are set, and another school year begins. ❤️

We are incredibly grateful for how faithfully you support our Monday casseroles week after week, and we appreciate your understanding while we take a few days to recharge and enjoy some family time.

We'll be back soon (8/24), rested and ready to get cooking again! 👩‍🍳

🌱 What is the Grass Roots Institute?
We've had several new faces join us recently, so we thought it was the perfect time to re-introduce our organization!
The Grass Roots Institute of Kansas was created with one simple belief:
Strong communities begin with strong food systems.
In rural Northwest Kansas, access to healthy food, local producers, and food education can be challenging. We believe our communities deserve better—and we're working to be part of that solution.
Through the Institute, we strive to:
🍅 Support local growers and food entrepreneurs
🥖 Provide hands-on cooking and food preservation education
🥗 Increase access to healthy, affordable food. We currently offer a salad bar Tuesdays – Fridays 11:00-2:00 and take & bake casseroles every Monday.
👩‍🍳 Operate a licensed commercial kitchen where local food products can be created and shared
💚 Assisting local groups and individuals with bulk food ordering
🤝 Build partnerships that strengthen our regional food system for generations to come
You may know us from our weekly casseroles, workshops, community events, or our growing food initiatives, but those are just a few pieces of a much larger vision.
Our goal is to create a resilient local food system that supports producers, families, schools, businesses, and neighbors alike—keeping more healthy food, more opportunity, and more dollars right here in Northwest Kansas.
We're excited about what's ahead and look forward to sharing this journey with you. Thank you for believing in our mission and supporting stronger rural communities.
