What is an endowment and why does it matter for Rawlins County?

An endowment is more than a donation. It’s a lasting investment in the future of our communities. By protecting the principal and using only the earnings, endowments create permanent funding for projects and programs that make Rawlins County stronger for generations to come.

From the Jayhawk Theatre to the Atwood Public Library, community endowments help support the places and services that make our county feel like home.

The Rawlins County Future Fund is designed to:
- Provide long-term support for local initiatives
- Reduce reliance on additional taxes
- Help keep families and young people in our communities
- Preserve local wealth for future generations

Together, we can build a stronger future for Rawlins County, one investment at a time.

Real impact is happening across Rawlins County 💙

In April, ACE Foundation awarded $59,097 in community grants—fueling projects, supporting organizations, and strengthening the places and programs our community relies on every day.

Grant making isn’t just about dollars—it’s about creating opportunities, solving challenges, and building a stronger community for everyone.

✨ This is impact in action.
