Our programs and initiatives consist of Crisis Response Trainings, Community Conversations, Wellness Trainings, digital content, and outreach events. We aim to normalize

the conversation, peel back the layers of shame, eliminate stigma, and provide support for mental well-being. Established as The Hip-Hop Professional Foundation, the organization gained momentum quickly when Silence the Shame was launched as an anti-stigma mental health awareness campaign. STS Founder Shanti Das partnered with influencers and celebrities through social media to bring awareness to mental health and the impact of stigma. With this momentum, the organization moved to change the Hip-Hop Professional Foundation's name to Silence the Shame, Inc.
