💚 Give Back While We Gather! 💚

This year’s Women’s Business Forum is about more than connecting, empowering, and growing — we also have an opportunity to give back to women and individuals right here in Cobb County.

We’re proud to support Simple Needs GA, which provides essential hygiene and comfort items to individuals entering local homeless shelters — many arriving with little more than the clothes they are wearing.

🛍️ Want to help? Bring any of the full-size items listed below to the Women’s Business Forum on October 7. Even better, place your donated items inside a gallon-size Ziploc bag — it helps keep everything together and protects the other items if something spills!

Needed items include lotion, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, toothbrushes and toothpaste, soap, razors, feminine products, brushes/combs, shower shoes, rain ponchos, water bottles, notepads, playing cards and more.

Every donation helps Simple Needs GA work toward the approximately 1,400 bags needed each year for the three local shelters they support. 💚

✨ Coming to WBF? Grab a few items while you’re out shopping and bring them with you! Small contributions can make a BIG difference.

Fall fun is returning to Smyrna, and this year it comes with pumpkins, public safety vehicles and a chance to help local families. 🎃

Join the Smyrna Public Safety Foundation and The Tillman House from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, at Smyrna First United Methodist Church. Kids can decorate a pumpkin, enjoy a fall snack and drink, and get an up-close look at vehicles from the Smyrna Fire Department and Smyrna Police Department.

Admission for each child is a new winter item of any size, including socks, hats, coats or blankets. Donations will help stock The Tillman House’s closet with winter essentials for families in need.

Stay tuned for registration details!

Thank you to everyone who joined us at StillFire Brewing earlier this month to support the Smyrna Public Safety Foundation and our benevolence fund. Your support helps us continue standing behind Smyrna’s first responders when they need it most.

A very special thank you to StillFire Brewing for being such a generous community partner and helping make the event possible.

We couldn’t do this work without our community’s support, and we’re grateful to everyone who came out to be part of it.

Stand with our public safety personnel!

Effective civic partnerships depend on organizations willing to contribute more than goodwill. The Smyrna Public Safety Foundation’s sponsor network brings together local businesses, professional service providers and community organizations around a shared commitment to public safety personnel.

These relationships expand the Foundation’s ability to convene supporters, operate programs and respond to opportunities for service without placing the work on a single institution.

Please take a look at our sponsors, and please support the organizations investing in Smyrna’s public-safety community: https://smyrnapsf.org/index.php/our-sponsors/
