Athens Sunrise Rotary is raising funds for Rotary for Reading, bringing free monthly books to children through Dolly Parton's Imagination Library of Ohio.

ASR took the plunge at the 8th Annual Polar Bear Plunge hosted by the Athens County Board of Developmental Disabilities.
We had a brave crew of FIVE jump in this year, all in support of an incredible organization that serves individuals and families in our community year-round.

We’re proud to share that Athens Sunrise Rotary donated $3,000 to the Athens Child Advocacy Center at the Survivor Advocacy Outreach Program to support children and families in our community 💛
Funds raised through our Winter Wonderland NYE event — along with a generous contribution from the Marietta Noon Club— will help provide transportation assistance, food gift cards, toys, and day-to-day operational support for families receiving services.
This donation builds on our April 2025 toy and supply drive and our continued commitment to organizations doing critical work right here in Athens County.
We're grateful to partner with incredible advocates making a difference every day.

Supporting local children’s causes is woven into the fabric of Athens Sunrise Rotary. Tonight’s Drafts for a Difference supported the New-to-You Thrift Shoppe, a non-profit store operated by the Athens County Foster Parent Association. The revenue from the retail store supports local foster children.
