The Rotary Club of Athens Sunrise has officially been honored with the 2025-26 Club Excellence Award! This is the most significant award a Rotary club can achieve.

This past year, our club demonstrated a steadfast commitment to achieving our goals, which ultimately helps strengthen Rotary and shape our future. We are especially honored to be recognized for fostering a positive experience for our members and reflecting the core values of Rotary.

🎉 A Decade of Dedication! 🎉

Can you believe it’s almost time to celebrate 10 years of the Athens Sunrise Rotary?

For this last entire decade, our members have been putting Service Above Self into action. Whether we were raising funds at "Drafts for a Difference," Paddling for PolioPlus, collecting SOOOOO many pairs of socks, volunteering to w**d flower beds, supporting local charities, or working on global causes like End Polio Now, YOU, Athens Community, have been the heartbeat of our success and we couldn't have done any of this without your support.

Now, here we are getting ready to celebrate with the community that makes it all possible. We are planning a special 10-Year Anniversary event, and we want you there to help us kick off our next decade of service! Plans are in the works, the GEARS of Rotary are churning as we speak!!

The **Athens Sunrise Rotary** is thrilled to announce that our recent **Paddle for Polio Plus** event at beautiful Lake Snowden was an incredible success! Thanks to an amazing turnout, enthusiastic participants, and the generosity of our community, we paddled with purpose and raised vital funds to support Rotary International’s ongoing mission to eradicate polio worldwide.

What a heartwarming and eventful morning at the Athens Sunrise Rotary! 🌅

This week, our hearts were full as we worked on the **"My Very Own Blanket"** service project. We had a wonderful time preparing and providing comforting blankets for local foster children in Vinton County. 🧵❤️ Every child deserves something of their very own to hold onto, and we are so grateful to be part of this mission!

The good news didn't stop there. We also had the absolute honor of inducting a fantastic new member into our Rotary family. Welcome aboard! 🎉

Plus, our meeting was made extra special (and adorable) thanks to a very good, very furry canine guest who stopped by to entertain us. 🐾🐶
