Let’s welcome fall with silent reading! We have 5️⃣ dedicated reading 📚 opportunities with Silent Book Club Athens this month. We’ll be at our three monthly reading venues Tapped Athens, Foxglove PlantBar, and The Globe — ⏰ note the new time for Tapped. We are also reading at Athentic Brewing Company and Firefly Farmstop.

What a perfect Wednesday evening at this week! The Inn on 441 is a new bed & breakfast in a beautifully restored historic home located in Bishop. There are so many perfect spots to read! Thank you Christensen family for welcoming us.

What a great Tapped Athens Tuesday to kick off August and the fall reading season. We hope everyone enjoyed their books! There are some great titles in those stacks! The new time for this event (5:30-7:30pm) seemed to work for everyone so we will keep it going next month. See you next time!

Globe Wednesday was very special this month. We celebrated the birthdays of co-hosts Hanna and Stacy, and Stacy led her last reading event as a co-host. It is bittersweet as Stacy has been co-hosting and helping organize our events for five years now. She is a huge part of why Silent Book Club Athens is what it is today and we are going to miss her so much! She’ll still be around for a little while before her family moves on to new adventures so make sure you say hi to her if you get a chance!

Hi Silent Book Club Athens followers, quick note here that we share updates primarily through Instagram. We used to be able to sync Instagram and Facebook posts but are experiencing glitches as of late, so Facebook may not always have the most current information or recent event photos.
