Silent Book Club Athens Join us for independent reading in a cozy community setting. Adults of all ages are welcome. BYOBook! and internationally.

The concept of Silent Book Club Athens is simply to bring together book lovers in the Athens, Georgia community. There is no assigned reading, no deadline to finish a book, and no required discussion. Bring your book of choice and enjoy reading in the company of others who appreciate and support reading too. Adults of all ages are welcome, and so are books of all genres and formats - e-readers, iP

ads, laptops, and audiobooks too! Silent Book Club began in San Francisco in 2012 and has grown to include hundreds of chapters around the U.S. Visit silentbook.club to learn more about our parent organization and its amazing founders. Athens chapter organizers Kathleen and Stacy set up reading meetups at local businesses each month which you can sign up for through our Linktree or directly through Eventbrite. Advance signup is strongly encouraged as our wonderful readers frequently max out the seating available. We welcome feedback, suggestions, and questions anytime via direct message, email, or in person. We can't wait to meet you and see what you're reading!
