That’s a wrap on an absolutely incredible Summer 2026 at J.N. Webster! Looking at this amazing Camp Staff, we are overwhelmed with gratitude.

To our dedicated Camp Staff, thank you for bringing your absolute best every single day to give our Scouts a summer they’ll never forget. A massive thank you as well to our Volunteers, Auxiliary Camp Staff, and the Friends of Webster. Whether you served as a subject matter expert, commissioner, helped with medical check-in, worked the Friday night Family BBQ, mentored staff, maintained the facilities, or pitched in tirelessly behind the scenes, your unwavering support is the backbone of JNW.

As we close out an unforgettable season filled with campfires, adventure, and lifelong memories, we’re already buzzing with excitement for what’s next. Rest up, enjoy the off-season, and we will see you at the gates for an even bigger and better Summer Camp 2027!

Thank you to the 30 people who attended today’s Camp Takedown Day! Although it rained, this hearty group included Camp Staff, Alumni, Campers, Leaders, and Parents who got the job done and ate a great surf-and-turf meal (Sir Loin?). Although we couldn't get the tents down, we still got a tremendous amount of work done! ✅

Troop 601 Glastonbury, CT For Girls ✅

Troop 601 experienced an incredible week of summer camp at June Norcross Webster Scout Reservation. The troop enjoyed all camp had to offer including merit badges, pizza night, fun in Goss Pond, enjoying the updated Greer Dining Hall and hanging out with fellow scouts. It’s always sad when summer camp ends but we look forward to next year!
Troop 601 is so proud to be a Super Troop 2 years in a row!
Thanks for all of the adult leadership that made summer camp possible! It would not happen without you!

One of our Week 7 Specialty Camp programs included Veterinary Medicine Merit Badge. Part of the class was a visit to the Fenton River North Veterinary Clinic in Ashford and a guided tour by Eagle Scout Dr. Jesse Batty, DVM.

Thank you to Dr. Batty, Program Director Gio, a Veterinary Assistant, and past Scoutmaster Michael Guastini of the Woodstock Veterinary Clinic for help coordinating.

At the completion of the 2026 NYLT Course at J.N. Webster, Reservation Director Pat Boyd presented 2026 Course Director Don Corne with a plaque from the Connecticut Rivers Council in recognition of his excellent work. Don did an outstanding job bringing together a team of Adult Staff to support the Youth Staff who ran the course. Thank you, Don, and the entire 2026 NYLT Staff for living up to the common NYLT refrain of “If you can see it, you can be it.”
