Ashby Legacy Roots collaborated with APS kindergarten teachers for the first annual “First Day of Kindergarten Breakfast”. This intentional pause on what can often be an emotional and chaotic day fostered moments of connection for parents and teachers.

To deepen the impact, our littlest Arrows were offered time with our graduating seniors. The seniors served breakfast and then were each paired with a kindergarten buddy. As we watched the seniors walk the kindergarten’s to class; many with tiny hands gripping tight; we couldn’t help but smile with the hope of growth gained by this year, fostering deeper roots for ALL!

Class of 2027, it was our honor to host Senior Sunrise on the top of Christina Mountain to help celebrate the start of your senior year! The view was definitely worth the climb!

Make each day great as you get closer to the top of your climb as a student at AHS. Take time along the way to look at the view from where you are -- enjoy it & keep climbing!

Class of 2027, we invite you to start your senior year making memories together at senior sunrise!
What better place than on the top of Christina Mountain to meet and take a moment to celebrate the year ahead!

2026! It was another great year!

This year marks 8 years of Roots running events and the first year of opening up this event to Ashby girls AND boys! It was awesome to see each of the runners dig deep to their strong Roots throughout their race!
🙌 It is also awesome to see Roots running alumni at the start line and we celebrate them as they continue to make the commitment to run their race!

On Wednesday these runners showed their commitment to the Ashby Appreciation Days race! Our favorite way to prepare for race day is to "run the hill"!! It is a good reminder of one of our favorite words *pacing*; managing our speed and energy

Good luck to all the runners tomorrow! 🙌 Dig deep to your Strong Roots!!
