2026! It was another great year!

This year marks 8 years of Roots running events and the first year of opening up this event to Ashby girls AND boys! It was awesome to see each of the runners dig deep to their strong Roots throughout their race!
🙌 It is also awesome to see Roots running alumni at the start line and we celebrate them as they continue to make the commitment to run their race!

On Wednesday these runners showed their commitment to the Ashby Appreciation Days race! Our favorite way to prepare for race day is to "run the hill"!! It is a good reminder of one of our favorite words *pacing*; managing our speed and energy

Ashby Legacy Roots (formally Ashby Roots) is back for 2026!

Get your running shoes ready. Commitment Day is coming up this Wednesday, June 10!

This event is open to ALL Ashby girls and boys who finished grades K-4 in May 2026.

The AHS Class of 2026 will leave their Ashby Legacy as they graduate this Sunday. We are celebrating them by adding a couple opportunities for them to connect with classmates & fellow students during their finals days!

** We are excited to share that we have made a shift to our programming to include more of Ashby's youth; boys and girls, ages K-12.
