Today, we pause and take time to remember. 🇺🇸 Ashburnham Girl Scouts helped by placing American flags at the headstones of our fallen heroes. We carry their legacy forward and promise to never forget the sacrifices made for our freedom. Plus participated in the Memorial Day services.💙❤️🤍

All AFD members are dual certified Firefighter/Paramedics or Firefighter/EMTs and medical calls account for ~80% of our call volume. This week goes out to all EMS providers for their dedication and skills they give on every call. Thank you.

Juniors earned their arts and craft patch! We did mosaic art— each girl had a canvas and used dry dex plaster as the base. They had a selection of gems, seashells, and beads to choose from to make their beautiful designs.

The plaster starts pink and turns white once it’s all done drying. So they also had fun experimenting with the science of that 🤣

In honor of Earth Day next week the girls made 2 different types of wildflower seed balls to spread go the pollinators!

Miss Jen also taught us how to juice lemons and create our own healthy lemonades!! They were delicious!!
