Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved, especially Valley View Barbell, our bake sale raised an incredible $800! All proceeds go directly back to scholarships and supplies for our 2027 Washington, DC trip. In addition, all leftover baked goods were donated to the Fitchburg Police Department, Westminster Police Department, Westminster Fire Department, Ashburnham Police Department, Ashburnham Fire Department, and the Westminster VFW.

Today was a good day!!! Thank you to Green Tea for supplying out staff with all the “Chickety China Chinese Chicken” we could eat. It was a great Friday lunch. All staff also got to cash in their tickets from all the games played all week, hoping to win some fabulous raffles donated by parents and the AWRSD community. We are so thankful for all of you. Winning staff will be posted on Monday.

No soup for you!!!! JK no Seinfeld Soup N**i here…everyone got Sa’More Ray’s delicious chicken soup for lunch today. Thank you to all the families that helped contribute to getting this for our staff. Our third staff winner was Jill Brewer who knew all the best 90’s movies!!!

Today….was a half day but we still celebrated our teachers and staff because we think they are all that and a bag of chips. Staff was treated to a nostalgic lunchable, adult style. Smith Country Cheese helped by donating cheese sticks and Overlook PTO supplied chips, trail mix, cookies and beef sticks all perfectly packaged for snacking through professional development. Jackie White was our second staff member selected for a bonus gift card for knowing all music from the 90’s.

What a beautiful day to celebrate the 2nd day of Teacher and Staff Appreciation week at Overlook! It was the perfect day to rock out to the 90’s classic “Ice Ice Baby” with Kona’s Ice Truck. Staff were treated to a lunch time frozen ice treat. Staff filled a classic 90’s cup with shaved ice and flavored the ice how they wanted. Staff also played a music trivia game. Sean Gorman was the first staff member to be awarded a $10 GC for knowing all about 90’s slang.
