CAF is expanding its reach! How exciting!

The Commemorative Air Force has officially chartered its first-ever Hawaii Wing, establishing a permanent base near the historic Pearl Harbor at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport. Led by commercial pilot Brian Columbus, the unit has already assembled 15 members and is rapidly pushing toward a goal of 30 colonels to qualify for an official aircraft assignment. This new presence aims to preserve history and inspire local audiences by sharing the stories of the historic warbirds that helped shape our world. ✈️

An O Club renovation has begun! This week members started work on building a bar for the O Club in our hangar.

If you would like to help with this project, we will be at the hangar this Saturday (May 9) at 10am. Come on out and help us do a little spring cleaning!

Educate, Inspire, Honor: The three pillars of the Commemorative Air Force. Yesterday we upheld all three when we dropped into the at Boeing Field to visit the Aviation Science Pathway program students. Students got to learn about the AT-19 and the history behind it.

Come out and see us April 18 for our first public event of the year! Heritage Flight Museum will be hosting the AT-19 for their first fly day of the year.

The Moon trip is all fine, but let's not forget HFM is hosting a FLY DAY in less than two weeks!! Our food truck will be Smash Daddy's...I can't wait to bite into one of these killer smash burgers while being serenaded by "the sound of round."
