What an awesome pancake breakfast IMC/VMC FAAST fly-in we had this morning. The weather was perfect, and so were the pancakes. A special thanks to Sergio, Tim, Ed, Sumera, Carl, and Cheryl for making this happen. Many others also contributed, including our wonderful airport manager, Trent. and his staff. Also, thanks to all who attended the IMC/VMC session and contributed to make this an excellent learning event. Remember, we do a hybrid on-line and colocated at KGKY IMC/VMC session almost every 3rd Wednesday of the month. Today’s event however will replace our regularly scheduled Oct session. If interested in attending, email [email protected] and we’ll add you to our NL distro list where we announce our location and post the link to our IMC/VMC sessions.

To repeat a former post, and with a corrected date, registration for our Oct 17th Young Eagles Rally at Grand Prairie is closed. We reached our max 60 available seats. Our next rally is Sat, Nov 21st at Spinks Airport near Burleson. Watch for registration to open for our Spinks Rally around Nov 7th at EAA

We've had 60 Young Eagles register for our Sat, Oct 17th Rally at Grand Prairie Airport, our max capacity. Therefore, registration is now closed for that event. Watch for us to open registration for our Sat, Nov 21st Rally at Spinks Airport 2 weeks prior to that rally at eaachapters.org. Just key-in your Zip Code when you go to that website and you'll see our rally notice. Email [email protected] with any questions about our Young Eagles and/or other youth programs.

Thanks to all the bright young future engineers who participated in our aircraft sheet metal workshop today. They turned out some of the highest quality practice pieces we’ve see to date. Can’t wait for our RV12 tail cone to arrive so we can get to work on a real Experimental Aircraft.
